Our Grants

Neuron

Neuron to Something!

You're Onto Something!

This grant funds innovative and promising early-stage research projects for DMG. Projects in this category are not a continuation of previously completed and published work. Rather, they are a creative and new approach for solving the problem at hand. They advance the field by providing a novel lens through which we view and treat this disease.

Light Bulb

Axon the Big Questions...

Asking the Big Questions...

This grant funds larger, translational research projects for DMG such as clinical trials.

Microscope

If It's Broc(a), We Can Fix It!

If It's Broken, We Can Fix It!

This grant funds the repair, replacement, or first-time purchase of critical pieces of laboratory equipment used in DMG research. Equipment is expensive, and this often prevents and/or delays research projects. This grant is awarded on a rolling basis as funds permit. The turnaround time for this application is approximately 14 business days. Applicants are not required to submit a specific, in-depth project proposal. However, they are required to detail the experiments/projects that are being delayed. Applicants must be members of a DMG-dedicated laboratory and must use the equipment for DMG research.
